Chief Chris Deisler began his law enforcement career with the Winter Springs Police Department in 1992 at the age of nineteen. A native of Orlando and a second generation law enforcement officer, he has spent his entire adult life in service to the community.

Throughout his nearly three decades with the Winter Springs Police Department, Chief Deisler has served in numerous diverse assignments including Patrol Operations, the Traffic Enforcement Unit, Directed Enforcement, Support Services, and Professional Accountability.

He was appointed as the fifth Chief of the Winter Springs Police Department in May 2019 and to this day, you will frequently find him out in the community working alongside patrol officers and interacting with members of the public- all while doing what he still loves to do. Chief Deisler graduated from the University of Louisville’s Southern Police Institute Command Officer’s Development Course in 2008 and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College.

He and his family are proud to live within the community he serves and he is grateful for the opportunity to continue to make positive impacts in the law enforcement profession.
