Why the Men of Forge Need to Invite Others to Join the Fellowship

In a world where distractions are abundant and true brotherhood can feel elusive, the Forge fellowship stands as a beacon of Christian unity and purpose. Forge is not just a gathering of men—it’s a life-changing ministry that equips men of all ages to grow spiritually, connect deeply, and lead purpose-driven lives for the glory of God. If you’re a part of this incredible fellowship, you know firsthand the impact it can have. So why, as we enter a new year, should we invite others to join? Many reasons…

Forge is About Strengthening the Brotherhood

As Pastor Pete has shared with us so often, Christian men today face immense challenges: societal pressures, spiritual battles, and the daily responsibilities of leading families, churches, and communities. Forge creates a space where men can find encouragement and accountability, rooted in Christ. Inviting other men into this circle extends the gift of brotherhood. A place where all men can be sharpened “as iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17). Every man needs brothers in faith who will walk with him, pray for him, and remind him of his God-given purpose. Forge offers that, and when we invite others to join, we help them experience the power of genuine Christian community.

It’s About Mentorship Across Generations

Forge uniquely bridges the gap between older and younger men, fostering discipleship and mentorship. Seasoned men bring wisdom and experience, while younger men bring passion and fresh perspectives. Together, they create a dynamic that strengthens both groups. When we invite younger men to Forge, we invest in the future of the Church. When we invite older men, we give them a platform to pour their lives into the next generation. This cycle of mentorship is vital for spiritual growth and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

Forge Equips Men to Lead Like Christ
The world needs leaders who reflect the heart of Jesus. Forge equips men to be those leaders—whether in their families, workplaces, or communities. Through teachings, discussions, and prayer, Forge challenges us all to rise above mediocrity and live out our faith boldly. By inviting others to Forge, we’re not just bringing them to a meeting; we’re introducing them to a transformative experience that can shape their character, deepen their faith, and inspire them to lead with integrity.

Evangelism Through Fellowship

Inviting others to Forge is an act of evangelism. Many men are searching for meaning, peace, and connection, but they don’t know where to find it. Forge provides a Christ-centered answer to these longings. Our invitation could be the first step in someone’s journey to faith or a catalyst for reigniting their relationship with God. Imagine the joy of seeing a friend, colleague, or neighbor encounter Jesus through the fellowship of Forge.

Forge is a Mission Worth Expanding

The work of Forge isn’t just for those who are already here—it’s a mission that calls for growth. Each man who joins brings unique gifts and perspectives that enrich the fellowship and advance its mission. By inviting others, we help Forge grow stronger, reaching more men with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

So how do we invite others…

  • Pray for Opportunities: Ask God to open doors for conversations about Forge.
  • Share Your Story: Talk about how Forge has impacted your life and why it matters to you.
  • Extend a Personal Invitation: A simple “Why don’t you come to Forge with me next week?” can be powerful.
  • Follow Up: If someone expresses interest, check in and encourage them to take the step to join.

Forge is more than a ministry; it’s a movement of men pursuing Christ together. As a part of this fellowship, we have the privilege and responsibility to invite others into this journey. Don’t underestimate the power of your invitation—it could change a life, a family, or even a generation.

Let’s grow Forge together, one man at a time.
